What Other People Just Like You Are Saying About Body Motion Physical Therapy in Edmonds, WA...

Hannah Overcame Pelvic Floor Issues And Is Now Back To Living Pain Free
“I’m a mother of a 17-month old boy and I have been having hip problems ever since I gave birth, really. I have gone to see a chiropractor. I’ve done everything about it and have a lot of trouble really locking down on the pain. The chiropractor really helped with my back, everything was fine, but it really wasn’t getting to the core issue. And I was talking to another mom about this at a park, and she recommended I go to physical therapy. And ultimately, it turns out that the cause of the pain was my pelvic floor.”
Courtney Is 34 Weeks Pregnant And Is Seeking Help From Body Motion For Her Prenatal Care
“So, I’ve been coming to Body Motion, this is my seventh visit that I’ve had, and I have no more bladder spasms. I’ve actually learned how to control my bladder, even though I have a baby’s head on my bladder right now. But, I have no more bladder pain and I have so much confidence going in for a vaginal delivery, as Dr. Allison Feldt is able to work with decreasing any of that tight tone in my pelvis as well as she’s teaching to me to actually push. So, I’ve learned how to push out a baby and I feel so confident and so ready to bring this little one into the world.”

A Message From Owner. Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT...

Are you currently pregnant? Dreaming of the day you get to deliver? Years ago, I was just like you! I am Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT a Pelvic Expert Physical Therapist and owner of Body Motion Physical Therapy, I believe all women deserve care through pregnancy and postpartum. I also have a passion for helping women live their best life in strong bodies without suffering. As a mother of two I understand mom life.

I understand the MASSIVE body changes THAT occur with pregnancy and after delivery.

My favorite phrase is once postpartum, always postpartum.

I’ve seen too many moms in their late 40’s and 50’s dealing with hip, knee, back, ankle, neck and shoulder issues, and lots of them were peeing their pants too. These moms turned into the 60-70 years olds with joint replacement and surgeries. Those moms then turned into the 80+ year olds in wheelchairs and diapers in the nursing homes. This fueled my passion to help moms restore their cores (pelvic floors and bellies) after kids so they don’t have to enter this cycle. I applaud you for taking the steps needed to be proactive with your health!

As a mom and someone who has experienced the aftermath of pregnancy and childbirth, I know firsthand the steps it takes to restore the body and strive to help moms heal themselves holistically.

You don’t have to sacrifice the birth you’ve dreamed of over problems that can be fixed. That’s why we made this free guide just for you.

You see, every pregnant woman in Edmonds wants to know:

  • I feel uncomfortable and “gross”, how can I improve these changes?
  • I know how I want my birth to go, what can I do to make it better?
  • What exercises can I do to protect myself and child during birth?

We have good news: we can answer all of those! There is so much that can be done through Physical Therapy to help facilitate your body during pregnancy and labor and we’re here to show you the way.

Most people get stuck trying to make a decision about what to do next. They go days, weeks, without taking action.

The one thing we can guarantee is that you can never be over prepared for this life altering event and you never want to be thinking “What if I had prepared my body more, would l have had the birth I dreamed of?” Alot of times we hear from moms that they wished they had come to us before they had delivered.

So the next important thing is to take action.
