As a mom of three, a business owner, and a pelvic expert physical therapist, I hit a point earlier this year where I just didn’t feel good. I was tired, bloated, brain-foggy, and frustrated. Even though I was still working out and eating “pretty well,” I was stuck in a loop wondering why I didn’t feel vibrant in my body anymore.
And I know I’m not alone. So many women I work with and talk to feel this way too. You’re not broken. But there may be one key shift you need to make. For me, it was moving from intention to action through discipline.
“I’m So Sick of This Bloat. This Brain Fog. This Feeling Off.”
Back in January, I was fed up. I looked at my husband and said, “I’m just so sick of this.” I was sick of feeling like my skin was inflamed, like I was doing everything “right” but still didn’t feel good.
I was still holding onto 10 extra pounds that wouldn’t budge, my skin was dull, and I just didn’t feel connected to myself. Even though I was doing red light therapy, working out, eating relatively healthy, it wasn’t enough. I was treating healthy habits like rewards rather than daily necessities.
The 75-Day Commitment That Changed Everything
That’s when I decided to start a structured program. It wasn’t a magic pill, it was a daily practice of discipline and consistency. And the rules were simple:
Drink 1 gallon of water daily
Do two workouts a day (one outside)
Eat 100% clean no cheats, no sugar, no processed food
Read 10 pages of a personal development book
No alcohol
No excuses
At first, I was nervous. I’d tried other programs before. But this time, I stuck with it. And by Day 75? I didn’t just feel better, I felt amazing.
What Changed: Not Just My Body, But My Mind and Energy
By the end of those 75 days, I had:
Lost the 10 pounds I’d been holding onto
Cleared up my skin and reduced inflammation
Dramatically improved my energy and clarity
Felt emotionally stable and less reactive
Started leading with more confidence at home and work
I realized I wasn’t truly showing up for myself before. I was doing “enough to get by,” not enough to thrive. I needed the structure and boundaries to feel good in my body again.
And surprisingly, that discipline gave me freedom. I stopped constantly negotiating with myself. I just did the things that made me feel better.
It’s Not About Weight Loss It’s About Self-Respect
This journey wasn’t about shrinking. It was about becoming more of myself, more grounded, more clear, more in control of my body and energy.
Before, I’d have wine a few nights a week to wind down, or say “yes” to a treat that I didn’t really want. And I’d wake up feeling regretful, inflamed, and disconnected.
Now? I feel empowered. I eat what nourishes me. I rest without guilt. I work out because I love moving my body. I feel like I finally came back to myself and I want that for every woman I work with.
For Every Woman Who Feels Off or Stuck: You Deserve to Feel Good Again
Whether you’re in your 30s, 40s, or 50s, you don’t have to settle for feeling off. You deserve to wake up with energy, to feel sexy in your clothes, to enjoy intimacy, and to lead from a place of strength—not depletion.
If you’re feeling disconnected or stuck, ask yourself:
Am I actually doing what my body needs?
Am I making excuses, or am I showing up with discipline?
Am I waiting for a crash before I finally prioritize myself?
You don’t have to hit rock bottom to rise. You can start now, with one decision.
