EMTT therapy · Edmonds, WA
Deep cellular healing for pain that won't go away.
Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) uses high-energy magnetic pulses to reach deep into muscle, tendon, bone, and pelvic floor tissue. It's painless, non-invasive, and you stay fully clothed, making it ideal for chronic conditions that haven't responded to anything else.
How it works
Magnetic energy that reaches where hands can't.
EMTT is a next-generation regenerative treatment that uses high-energy magnetic pulses to stimulate healing at the cellular level. The magnetic field penetrates several inches into the body, reaching tissue that's nearly impossible to influence with massage, manual therapy, or topical treatments.
At the cellular level, EMTT helps recharge your body's natural repair processes. It calms inflammation, supports cell membrane function, and accelerates tissue regeneration in areas that have been stuck in chronic pain or dysfunction for months or even years.
At Body Motion, EMTT is administered by licensed physical therapists and usually combined with shockwave and pelvic floor physical therapy as part of Dr. Allison Feldt's regenerative protocols, so deep tissue healing and muscle retraining happen together.

Who it helps
EMTT is especially helpful for stubborn, chronic conditions and for patients who've tried other treatments without lasting relief.
EMTT reaches deep pelvic floor tissue that's hard to influence with manual therapy alone:
Urinary incontinence and bladder leakage
Chronic pelvic pain
Postpartum pelvic floor weakness
Pain with intimacy from deep tissue dysfunction
Pelvic floor support through perimenopause and menopause
Recovery from prolapse or pelvic surgery
When pain hasn't responded to PT, injections, or rest:
Chronic back and neck pain
Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
Tendinopathy in shoulders, knees, hips, and elbows
Joint pain from arthritis or old injuries
Sports injury recovery
Deep muscle tightness that won't release
Why patients choose it
Deep healing you can relax through.
No needles, no heat, no pressure. You lie back and relax while the applicator works.
Magnetic energy penetrates inches into the body, reaching bone, deep joints, and pelvic floor tissue.
Especially helpful for chronic, stubborn conditions where PT, injections, or rest alone haven't brought lasting relief.
No drugs, anesthesia, or recovery time. Return to work, exercise, or daily life right away.
EMTT works best as part of a combined protocol with shockwave and pelvic floor physical therapy.
Every session is administered by a licensed physical therapist with a plan built around your condition and goals.
Safety first
Because EMTT uses a magnetic field, every client is screened for implants and devices before treatment. Always tell us about anything implanted in your body.
Devices that can interact with a magnetic field.
Metal of unknown or magnetic material.
We check the material and location before treating nearby.
Generally fine once the material and location are verified.

EMTT FAQs
EMTT (Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy) is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy magnetic pulses to stimulate cellular repair deep inside the body, reaching muscle, tendon, bone, and pelvic floor tissue to calm inflammation and support natural healing.
Not at all. You stay fully clothed and lie back while the applicator works above the treatment area. There's no heat, pressure, or sensation, and most patients find it one of the most relaxing therapies they've had.
Most patients need 8 to 24 sessions, often combined with shockwave and pelvic floor physical therapy. Your package is built individually from your evaluation, condition, and goals.
Some patients notice a difference within a few sessions; for others, change builds over several weeks. Because EMTT works at the cellular level, improvements continue for weeks after your series ends.
We use it for urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, plantar fasciitis, chronic back and neck pain, tendinopathy, joint pain from arthritis or old injuries, and slow-healing sports injuries.
Shockwave uses acoustic pressure waves that you feel as rhythmic tapping, and it's great for scar tissue, tendons, and surface to mid-depth tissue. EMTT uses magnetic energy that reaches much deeper with no sensation. We often combine the two so each targets what it does best.
EMTT has virtually no side effects when it's administered with proper screening. The most important safety step is confirming that any implants or devices in your body are compatible with magnetic fields.
EMTT is a cash-pay regenerative service and isn't covered by most insurance plans. We're happy to provide a Good Faith Estimate when you schedule at least 3 days in advance. Call (425) 582-0727 or email support@bodymotionpt.com.

A message from our founder
Years ago, I was frustrated in my own postpartum body. Since then I've seen too many women in their 40s and 50s dealing with hip, back, and joint pain, and leaking too, who go on to need joint replacements and, later, live with incontinence. That cycle is why I started Body Motion. Most women wait months or even years before getting help, and the one thing I can promise is that doing nothing won't make pelvic floor issues better. The next step is to take action. — Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT
