Stay strong, steady, and independent.
Aging doesn't have to mean slowing down. Our Doctors of Physical Therapy help women in their 60s, 70s, and beyond stay dry, strong, steady on their feet, and fully engaged in the life they love.
Why it matters
Strength, balance, and bladder control go hand in hand.
More than one in four adults over 65 fall each year, according to the CDC, and falls are a leading cause of injury and lost independence. Muscle mass, bone density, and balance all decline with age, but research consistently shows they respond to the right training at any age.
Bladder health is part of the picture too. Rushing to the bathroom, especially at night, is a common reason older women fall, and leaks can quietly keep you home from the activities and people you love. Treating the pelvic floor and building strength and balance together protects your confidence as well as your body.
Dr. Allison Feldt started Body Motion Physical Therapy after working with women in their 60s and 70s in nursing homes who were struggling with incontinence and joint problems at the same time. Her mission is to help women build the strength and pelvic health to stay independent for life, and our team brings that same proactive approach to every visit.

A message from our founder
Years ago, I was frustrated in my own postpartum body. Since then I've seen too many women in their 40s and 50s dealing with hip, back, and joint pain, and leaking too, who go on to need joint replacements and, later, live with incontinence. That cycle is why I started Body Motion. Most women wait months or even years before getting help, and the one thing I can promise is that doing nothing won't make pelvic floor issues better. The next step is to take action. — Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT
