Online program · From Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT
Walk into birth confident, prepared, and in control.
The key to preparing for birth is conditioning the pelvic floor. That's exactly why Dr. Allison Feldt created this program: six expert-led video modules and a companion guide you can follow from home, in any trimester.
About the program
Most pregnancy education is about the baby. This is about you.
Birth is a natural part of life, but it's also scary. As the months pass, the very real fact that this baby has to come out, and you'll be the one to make it happen, gets closer. You hear "your body will know what to do" and a lot of stories that aren't sunshine and rainbows. One of the best ways to combat fear is to know what to expect and how to prepare.
Preparation is backed by research. The UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends pelvic floor muscle training during pregnancy, and Cochrane reviews show it lowers the risk of leaking in late pregnancy and after birth, while perineal massage from about 35 weeks reduces tearing that needs stitches.
Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT, is a pelvic floor physical therapist, best-selling author, mother of three, and owner of Body Motion Physical Therapy. This program brings the birth prep protocols she uses with clients in her Edmonds clinic to women wherever they live.

A message from our founder
Years ago, I was frustrated in my own postpartum body. Since then I've seen too many women in their 40s and 50s dealing with hip, back, and joint pain, and leaking too, who go on to need joint replacements and, later, live with incontinence. That cycle is why I started Body Motion. Most women wait months or even years before getting help, and the one thing I can promise is that doing nothing won't make pelvic floor issues better. The next step is to take action. — Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT
