I have been wanting to write a review & still don't know how or where to start to put my experience into words. Allison, Sabrina, Alexis and the entire team are just a dream to work with. I have struggled with severe endometriosis for 20+ years, multiple IVF treatments, 3 c sections (1 emergency) and multiple operations between. I cannot begin to tell you the difference my body felt just after even 1 session. Adding in the shock wave therapy has been a game changer and for the first time in over 20 years I had a painLESS period followed now by 3 full months of pain free debilitating periods. This really can and will change your life. I cannot recommend enough!!!

I came to Body Motion for a singular issue, after a consult I realized this team could help with my issue and had so much more to offer inside the sessions you pay for. They fixed a prolapse for me, helped me with an incontinence issue and worked with me on becoming more in tune with my breath, core and more. This is a service where you are very vulnerable and I always felt safe and comfortable at my appointments. Each person was kind and knowledgeable. I know where to go in the future if I need body work done, they are worth their fee tenfold!

I am so thankful I was referred to Body Motion PT. I started going in my 2nd trimester and continued through post-partum. Birthing my baby was very smooth/effective because of all the work I did prior with Body Motion PT, I was in and out of the hospital within 20hours with almost no tearing! All of the PT's are extremely kind and genuinely care about it you and your babies well being. The post partum work they did contributed to my quick recovery. I recommend Body Motion to any friend/family that I can!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Not only are all of the women Incredibly knowledgeable they are also incredibly encouraging. I went to body motion for about five months during my first pregnancy through my second and third trimester. My goal was to have a completely natural labor at the birth center with no interventions, and thanks to my work with Body Motion that goal was achieved! My midwife said if I hadn't of learned and practiced my push during pelvic floor therapy, I would have been pushing for an additional 3 hours or even had a c-section. So grateful for this amazing team & highly recommend!

If I could give this practice 10+ starts, I would! Almost three years after having my first baby and PT, my pelvic floor was still struggling and so I was. The therapists at Body Motion created a safe and comfortable environment where I could get the support I needed so re connect with my muscles. I cannot recommend this place enough if you're looking to get your body back into shape at any time in your lifetime.

I started going to Body Motion PT in my 3rd trimester and 100% credit Dr. Allison and her team with my success. This was my first pregnancy and I wanted to go into the birth fully prepared.

Thank goodness I went here prior to birth! I had a natural birth with no tearing, no episiotomy, and no induction needed. Just my body, a little luck, and a LOT of hard work! haha!

I have continued to see Dr. Allison for postpartum healing as well. She has helped immensely in my recovery. I highly recommend this place for anyone, especially women who are pregnant or postpartum!

My daughter who plays competitive soccer, basketball and volleyball has been doing shockwave therapy and EMTT at Body Motion Physical Therapy. She was having a lot of pain in her heels and after a few sessions her pain is completely gone! It's been a miracle! Highly recommend!

Dr. Riley really helped me prepare my pelvic floor for giving birth to my second child. I literally felt like I "breathed" her out. Dr. Riley helped me to feel and know that my muscles of my pelvic floor were working the way they should internally and also helped me through the muscle tension that is felt with pregnancy externally. She taught me how to help myself for optimal benefit of my sessions including various resources whenever I had questions. She is still helping me postpartum with scar tissue and my core. I could go on about all the good that I have experienced with her and the whole Body Motion Team. I hope you choose them and entrust them with your pelvic floor health.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a call and a discovery visit?

The call is a quick chance to ask questions and see if we're a good fit. A discovery visit is a free 30-minute appointment where we dig into your symptoms and goals and talk through your options. Many women start with a call and book a discovery visit afterward.

Is the call free?

Yes. There's no cost and no obligation.

Who will I talk to?

A member of our team who specializes in women's pelvic health, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause care.

When will you call me?

We'll contact you right away during clinic hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 7pm, and Friday 7am to 6pm.

What can I ask about?

Anything: leaking, pelvic pain, prolapse, pain with intimacy, pregnancy and birth prep, postpartum or C-section recovery, menopause, fertility, or whether shockwave, EMTT, or red light therapy could help you.

Do I need a referral?

No. In Washington State you can see a physical therapist directly without a physician referral.

What does treatment cost?

It depends on the care that's right for you. We're happy to talk through availability, cost, and package options on the call.

Can I just book a discovery visit?

Of course. If you already know you'd like to come in, request your free discovery visit and we'll get you scheduled.

Where are you located?

Our clinic is at 320 Dayton St, Suite 200, in Edmonds, WA, and we serve women across the Greater Seattle area.

A message from our founder

Why I started Body Motion

Years ago, I was frustrated in my own postpartum body. Since then I've seen too many women in their 40s and 50s dealing with hip, back, and joint pain, and leaking too, who go on to need joint replacements and, later, live with incontinence. That cycle is why I started Body Motion. Most women wait months or even years before getting help, and the one thing I can promise is that doing nothing won't make pelvic floor issues better. The next step is to take action. — Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT
