Our Clients On Average Push For Less Than An Hour – Learn The Secret

By Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT 2 min read

The secret to our Body Motion PT’s client success is our exclusive Body Motion Birth Preparation Protocols. I’m Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT, and I own Body Motion PT. I realized the need for these exclusive protocols after my first birth; I pushed for hours, straining my body so much that I worsened my existing prolapse.

I gave birth using the standard pelvic floor therapy methods and had a terrible experience

With my second child, I was a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist then and did my due diligence with the available information. This time around, I not only had the same experience, but it was even more traumatic; I burst every blood vessel in my face, and because of the scar tissue present after my first birth, healing was slow and challenging.

My second child, Body Motion PT, was born the same week. I knew that I needed to change the standard of care for women during pregnancy so that no one else walked away from their birth experience, wishing there was something they could have done differently or a way they could have prepared themselves to prevent the trauma they experienced.

I was one of the first providers to begin doing internal manual therapy during pregnancy. Before that, it was a contraindication, but I knew that what needed to happen was the direct release of the three layers of the pelvic floor because every client I was seeing during pregnancy was highly tight. How can we give birth if we can’t even relax the muscles the baby needs to pass through?

Reduced push time during birth is directly related to the quality of our pelvic floor muscles, our coordination, and our position while birthing. Our Body Motion Birth Preparation Protocols address all of these factors and more. It prevents aches and pains during pregnancy, addresses compensations different body areas create, and supports the mind-body connection to allow the body to stay parasympathetic during labor.

“Pregnancy Era: The Secret To A Tear-Free Birth And Fast Postpartum Recovery” I have written two books, but “Pregnancy Era: The Secret To A Tear-Free Birth And Fast Postpartum Recovery” is my most recent and shares significant information on the Body Motion Physical Therapy Birth Preparation Protocols. Both books are available on Amazon. Here’s The Link To Pregnancy Era –
