Helping women have injury-free births and recover after having babies was on my heart since I was in physical therapy school. It’s where my philosophies about prepping for birth would all start.
I had three incredible mentors who taught me in the pelvic health arena; one was a pioneer in the field. It was all novel. Yet no one confidently say we could do treatments to truly help women have less traumatic births, preventing unnecessary c-sections and helping prepare the body for a vaginal birth.
I would go on to have two babies as a pelvic floor physical therapist, and it was clear what needed to be changed in standard care. What I was doing at the time wasn’t even standard, but I was pioneering a protocol that would help women have these dream births.
Once I had my own and had invoked the existing protocol on myself. I had to face up to the missing link. It was so scary because no one was doing it at the time.
No one was even discussing it because it had been baked into the pelvic floor physical therapist education routes that you never do pelvic floor manual work during pregnancy…….
The disservice that this level of thought does to women is truly heartbreaking.
But we drove the change.
I got the guts to know what needed to be done way back then, which would forever change how women prepared for birth and would change how women birthed. Lowering our c-section rate to under 6% for women who go through our Body Motion Birth Preparation Protocols.
“Pregnancy Era: The Secret To A Tear Free Birth and Fast Postpartum Recovery” is the most essential information there is to start the process of prepping for your dream birth and quick recovery.
I’ve also created an online program that provides ALL OF THE EDUCATION and EXERCISES we give our in-person pelvic floor physical therapy clients who are going through the Body Motion Birth Preparation Protocols. If you want exclusive access to what this program includes, download this free overview.
If you know that getting the hands-on part of this protocol is what you need, and you desperately want to avoid tearing and prolapse. Come in for a discovery visit today.
