How To Support Fertility Naturally

By Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT 2 min read

Regular menstrual cycles are the most common issues our fertility clients experience. Tracking ovulation can be a struggle, with conception windows being so short, and the longer the trying to conceive journey, the more frustrating it can become. Hormones, diet and exercise play an essential role, but often, the root cause can be the pelvic floor and pelvic organs.

Fertility can be affected by experiencing pelvic health issues that can lead to scar tissue and adhesions in these muscles and organs. Infections, injury, and trauma can all lead to a lack of blood flow to these organs. A lack of blood flow to the pelvic floor and pelvic organs can lead to a less-than-ideal environment for conception. Painful periods, pain with intimacy, and irregular cycles are all connected to our pelvic health.

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Fertility Protocols vary but I work firsthand with clients on their fertility journey, using our Body Motion Physical Therapy Fertility Protocols to address these critical factors in fertility and can improve natural and assisted conception.

Our exclusive Body Motion Physical Therapy Fertility Protocols Include Body Motion Wave therapy, radial pressure waves that penetrate muscles and organs, restoring blood flow, stimulating cellular rejuvenation, and eliminating adhesions and tightness. Paired with visceral manipulation, a technique that restores the natural rhythms around our organs. And internal manual therapy releases the three layers of the pelvic floor, enhancing the sexual experience.

This combination of treatments improves the chances of conception based on pelvic health, cycle regularity and enhanced sexual experience.
